Job summary

ABB in Selmer, TN is seeking a Production Operator to run process equipment and convert raw materials into finished parts, following established workflows and safety guidelines to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role includes routine machine set-up, adjustments, repairs, and parts replacement; maintaining detailed maintenance records; and reporting issues promptly. This onsite position offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years manufacturing/industrial/machine operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment to convert raw materials or semi-finished parts into components or finished parts, following workflows and safety guidelines.
• Perform routine machinery set-up, adjustments, and repairs and fit simple replacement parts.
• Maintain records of machine set-ups, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Keep track of approved, defective units, and final products.
• Report issues and non-conformities to ensure quality and timelines.
