Job Summary

Operates die cast machines, trim presses, and related equipment, performing basic quality checks, documentation, and minor repairs while ensuring safety and meeting production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Read, comprehend, and follow written, standardized work instructions and trained procedures to operate die casting and/or trim machines.
• Complete daily tasks and production targets to meet scrap and uptime standards.
• Diagnose and perform minor repairs on die cast and trim press machines, and robot gripper systems.
• Put robot in auto mode and maneuver through Panel View on auto trim presses.
• Operate ladle and recip.
• Visually inspect for defects following established procedures.
• Accurately enter data into production software and quality systems.
• Detect and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to the proper supervisor.
• Learn new tasks and adapt to frequent job duty changes, including cross‑training and operating multiple machines as required.
• Complete daily paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area consistent with safety and work rules and regulations.
• Work safely around or while operating heavy equipment or manufacturing machinery.
• Work overtime and be available for emergency overtime when necessary.
• Report to work on time and perform to the best of your abilities.
• Other duties assigned from time‑to‑time.
