Responsibilities:
- Operate the Agglomeration machine and mixer; must be comfortable working at heights and on stairs.
- Handle materials using a stand-up forklift.
- Regularly lift up to 50 lbs of dry powdered ingredients.
- Maintain strong computer skills.
- Use math skills to test formulas and verify data.
- Conduct quality assurance testing.
- Disassemble and reassemble machines for preventative maintenance and perform wet cleans.
Qualifications:
- Experience in food manufacturing and/or machine operation.
- Computer proficiency; ERP system navigation a plus.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Team player capable of working well with others and fostering a positive work environment.
- Effective troubleshooting skills to assess situations, identify causes, and determine solutions.
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred.
Physical and Mental Demands:
- Frequently sit, hear, type data, use a computer and telephone; occasionally operate machinery and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision and focus adjustment; accommodations available for disabilities.
- Mental tasks include multi-tasking, decision making, problem solving, data analysis, and coordination.
- Potential exposure to chemicals, heights, loud noises, mechanical equipment, wet environments, and other hazards.
