Responsibilities:

• Operate the Agglomeration machine and mixer; must be comfortable working at heights and on stairs.
• Handle materials using a stand-up forklift.
• Regularly lift up to 50 lbs of dry powdered ingredients.
• Maintain strong computer skills.
• Use math skills to test formulas and verify data.
• Conduct quality assurance testing.
• Disassemble and reassemble machines for preventative maintenance and perform wet cleans.

Qualifications:

• Experience in food manufacturing and/or machine operation.
• Computer proficiency; ERP system navigation a plus.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Team player capable of working well with others and fostering a positive work environment.
• Effective troubleshooting skills to assess situations, identify causes, and determine solutions.
• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred.

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Frequently sit, hear, type data, use a computer and telephone; occasionally operate machinery and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision and focus adjustment; accommodations available for disabilities.
• Mental tasks include multi-tasking, decision making, problem solving, data analysis, and coordination.
• Potential exposure to chemicals, heights, loud noises, mechanical equipment, wet environments, and other hazards.
