SUMMARY:
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting food production and packaging equipment to support efficient manufacturing operations. Ensures products meet quality and food safety standards through routine inspections, equipment adjustments, sanitation activities, and adherence to GMP, food safety, and workplace safety requirements.
SCHEDULE:
This position works a 12-hour day shift, working from 6 AM - 6 PM on a 2-2-3 rotation. This is the "B" shift.
Every other weekend is a 3-day weekend scheduled off work.

EDUCATION EXPEREINCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:- Prior work-related experience and/or training.- Intermediate level of computer/technological skills.- Ability to train for forklift certification.PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).- 6 months or more of experience in machine operation.- Prior forklift experience preferred.- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.- Ability to write simple correspondence.- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral form.- Ability to deal with problems involving one concrete variable in standardized situations.#firstinfood
