Job summary

Altium Packaging in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Operator to run blow-mold machines and related equipment on a 12-hour D shift. You will troubleshoot process issues, monitor quality, and ensure GMP compliance.

Responsibilities include audits, weights, daily production reports, and recording maintenance requests. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with 1–3 years’ experience; AS degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate blow-mold machines to produce bottles and perform audits, weights and quality checks.
• Adhere to quality control and blow mold process procedure; follow GMPs.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on blow-mold and support equipment.
• Make adjustments to meet product specifications.
• Repair or replace pneumatic and hydraulic lines; assist with preventive maintenance.
• Train blow-mold employees and prepare daily production reports.
• Prepare maintenance request forms and document equipment repairs.
• Overtime may be required due to business needs.

They are responsible for troubleshooting process problems and performing minor maintenance to ensure continued operation of the production line. They are also responsible for following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agenciesOperate blow-mold machines (including wheels, reciprocating or shuttle machines) to ensure production of quality bottles and perform audits, weights and quality checksAdhere to quality control and to blow mold process procedureTroubleshoot and perform minor repair on blow-mold and support equipmentMake adjustments to meet product specificationsRepair or replace pneumatic and hydraulic linesAssist with preventive maintenance, mold, neck and blow pin and other mechanical changesGrind excess bottle and materialTroubleshoot and resolve process problemsPrepare maintenance request forms and document equipment repairsTrain blow-mold employeesPrepare & document daily production reports, including rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies and otherOther duties as assigned by managementReasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.QUALIFICATIONS:The requirements listed below are minimum requirements for the job.
