Weir Minerals U.S. in Bucyrus, OH is seeking a Machine Operator to operate production machinery (CNC machines, drills, grinders, forklifts and burners). Shift options are 3 PM–11 PM or 11 PM–7 AM.

Starting pay is $18–$20 per hour, with potential to earn over $27 per hour in two years, reflecting performance and tenure. You will read and interpret blueprints and technical docs, monitor quality, document exceptions, and collaborate with the Manufacturing Supervisor to keep production on target

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong manufacturing experience preferred (2 years).
• Proficiency in mathematics and problem-solving.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

Responsabilités

• Machinery Operation: Operate production machinery including CNC machines, drills, grinders, forklifts and burners to manufacture steel parts; set up, run, and monitor to meet targets.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and analyze blueprints and specs to guide machining processes and ensure dimensions and tolerances.
• Quality Control: Monitor processes, document issues, and address problems to maintain quality and safety.
• Collaboration: Report to Manufacturing Supervisor and work with shop staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Safety First: Commit to zero-harm principles and uphold a strong safety culture.
