Job summary

Century Mold is hiring a Machine Operator for the B shift in Rochester, NY. This role focuses on completing quality checks and following strict job instructions to ensure high production standards in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED (or 1–3 months related experience) and the ability to maintain attention to detail, strong work ethic, and teamwork in a high-performance manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks and complete paperwork for each task.
• Read and follow operator instructions and alerts.
• Record number of containers produced.
• Visually inspect products for defects and log defects and quantities.
• Keep the work area neat and organized per the 5S program.
• Communicate with incoming and outgoing operators.
• Spray molds as needed.
• Provide relief on other machines as requested.

As a Machine Operator you will fulfill orders according to job specifications with an eye towards process improvement, quality and meeting or exceeding job productivity and efficiency standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Has responsibility for completing all quality checks and paperwork associated with job tasks.
• Read and follow operator instructions and alerts.
• Record number of containers made.
• Visually inspect products for defects and record both the reasons and amount of defects.
• Keep work area neat and organized according to 5S program.
• Communicate with incoming and outgoing operators.
• Spray molds as required.
• Provide relief on other machines as requested.
