Position Summary: The primary responsibility of this position is the cutting, bending, fabricating, and folding of sheet metal to create components for assembly. The role requires safety, accuracy, and timeliness in a production environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Operate laser, press brake/turret machines, and other tools safely and accurately according to blueprints.
2. Follow and enforce all safety rules and regulations; ensure equipment is properly set up and used safely.
3. Operate forklift if required and certified.
4. Perform inspections on products before, during, and after production following CDI standards.
5. Monitor equipment functionality and request maintenance when needed.
6. Perform basic and preventative maintenance and repairs.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum 1-year experience operating metal fabrication tools.
3. Must be at least 18 years old.
4. Attention to detail, multitasking, and time management skills.
5. Ability to safely use measuring tools and power tools.
6. Willingness to cross-train in other production departments.
7. Pre-employment drug test willingness.
8. Effective reading, writing, and speaking skills in English.
9. Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, grip, squat, and lift regularly.
10. Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and 70 pounds occasionally.
