SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Machine Operators for a plastics manufacturing client in Hazle Township, PA. The Machine Operator tends machine(s) that heats and injects pre-measured plastic pellets into molds that create simple parts to be inspected and packed as individual products or bulk packed for further assembly and case packed. Prepares paperwork for transfer to appropriate departments.

SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($14.30-$16.10/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).

$0.25/hr. pay increase after 30 days on assignment. $25 gift card at 80 hours worked.

Shifts Available

1st shift - 6:30am-3:00 PM
2nd Shift - 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
3rd Shift - 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator

• Prepare machine for production by positioning and securing dies, stops, guides, and turntables.
• Safely and effectively operates thermoforming equipment to produce quality product.
• Reads job specifications and previous run data (if available) to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Ensures job is in order prior to machine set-up.
• Performs required quality testing on products produced, i.e. burst test, drop test, water table test, etc.
• Observes machine operation to detect piece defects or machine malfunction. Makes corrections to alleviate out of specification product.
• Position will entail standing for long periods of the day and lifting up to 50 pounds during shift.

Required Qualifications of the Machine Operator

• Background check and drug screen (minus THC) is required upon hire.
• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembling, and/or machine operating.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
• Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.
