Position Summary:

Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment to meet or exceed internal and external customer requirements. Follow policies and procedures in a manufacturing environment to ensure successful execution of responsibilities.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Operate filling and/or packaging equipment. Perform daily and weekly preventive maintenance, adjust and align machinery, and make minor mechanical repairs and part replacements.
2. Understand the functions of filling and packing machines, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments using the HMI.
3. Maintain production and quality records, operate equipment safely, and keep the work area clean.
4. Assist in training production assistants to ensure quality, GMPs, and safety compliance. Evaluate trainees' performance.
5. Manage information in the product library.
6. Sanitize filling line equipment, operate C.I.P. circuits, and handle chemicals safely with proper PPE.
7. Follow food safety policies, including SQF, GMPs, FSMA, and preventive controls.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Effective communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of filling and packaging equipment.
• Good mechanical skills for diagnosing and resolving issues, and maintaining machinery.

Physical Demands:
