Giesecke+Devrient ePayments America, Inc. in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a 3rd shift Machine Operator to join a fast-paced card manufacturing team.

You will power up printed sheets into high‑quality cards using advanced equipment and assist in the full production cycle from setup to final inspection. We value detail-oriented individuals with precision focus, capable of working a Monday–Saturday schedule from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am and collaborating with teammates.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in similar manufacturing role.
• Ability to operate machinery and read work instructions.
• Strong English communication, both verbal and written.
• Overtime flexibility may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple machines across the card manufacturing process.
• Quality check and verify conformance using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with security standards.
• Assist training of other employees and temporaries in department.

Pay ranges from $18.00–$23.57/hour, reflecting the minimum and maximum target based on the role, level, and location. What you bring to the table:

• CNC experience is a plus
• Ability to comprehend and translate written work instructions to provide training to other employees and temporaries assigned in the department
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a time sensitive, deadline driven environment
• Understanding of quality processes and procedures
• Ability to use various measuring devices, such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to verify material conformance to specifications
• Ability to troubleshoot malfunctions

Machine Operator Job Specifications:

• Exposure to shop noise
• Requires working on hard floor- regularly standing, walking, bending, squatting, and stooping
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens. Requires normal color perception.
• Adheres to MasterCard and Visa association security standards

Machine Operator Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1 year experience in similar manufacturing role
• Ability to operate machinery
• Basic computer skills
• Strong verbal and written communication in English
• Flexibility with regard to schedule- overtime may be required as needed
