John F. Martin & Sons seeks a dedicated Machine Operator to drive our production line, ensuring meat and cheese products are sliced, weighed, and sealed to the highest standards. You will thrive in a fast-paced setting where safety and sanitation are top priorities.

The role runs Monday through Friday, 2:30 pm–11:00 pm, with mandatory overtime as needed, and requires reliability, coachability, and a strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-end equipment safely and oversee production functions.
• Log production activities using the Product Traceability System.
• Lift 30–40 lbs and maneuver fully loaded meat cages and product bins.
• Maintain sanitation, PPE use and proper chemical handling.
• Follow USDA food-safety and basic hygiene procedures.

Role Summary

As a Machine Operator, you are the engine of our production line. You will ensure our high-quality products are sliced, weighed, and sealed to perfection. We are looking for someone who takes pride in technical precision and thrives in a fast-paced environment where safety and sanitation are the top priorities.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm (with mandatory OT as needed)

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Manage and oversee the operational and safety functions of high-end machinery.
• Documentation: Accurately log production activities using our Product Traceability Computer System.
• Physical Excellence: Frequently lift 30–40 lbs. and maneuver fully loaded meat cages and product bins.
• Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a hazard-free workspace and perform deep-cleaning of machinery using authorized chemicals and required PPE.
• Compliance: Strictly follow all food safety, basic hygiene, and USDA-related procedures.
