Job summary

Airtech is seeking a Production/Extrusion Operator in Huntington Beach, CA to operate extrusion equipment, set up machines per production orders, and help ensure quality. The role requires following safety procedures and working with a team on a fast-paced production line.

The position emphasizes semi-skilled workmanship, the ability to read work orders, label and pack finished products, and maintain a clean, safe workplace in compliance with OHSA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to learn extrusion equipment and basic manufacturing procedures.
• Ability to follow detailed work orders and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Check operating controls and safety of equipment prior to operation.
• Set up machine base on production orders and adjust setup as needed.
• Monitor material quality for defects and adjust machine parameters as required.
• Label and pack finished products as produced on the line per work orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.
• Comply with OHSA safety standards during all duties.
• Wear respirator when performing machine setup or handling certain materials.
• Understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions.
• Maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Job Summary

Perform semiskilled work operating a variety of extrusion equipment, operations include setting up machine base on production orders, maintain production quality, obtain samples for quality control, labeling, and packing of finished products.

Essential Functions
