Kaytee (Central Garden & Pet) - 2nd Shift Machine Operator

Kaytee is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Machine Operator to join our team in Chilton, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machines, palletizers, and scales. The position follows a four-day, 10-hour schedule (3 pm to 1 am) from Monday to Thursday, offering a long weekend every week.

Key Responsibilities

1. Start machines, make adjustments, and troubleshoot as necessary.
2. Perform efficient machine set-up.
3. Maintain communication with mixers, line associates, and during shift changes.
4. Comply with safety rules and company policies.
5. Train new and existing line personnel and backups.
6. Inspect bags for quality seals.
7. Complete paperwork accurately and efficiently.
8. Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
9. Understand and align with department goals and objectives.
10. Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
11. Report any Food Safety issues to authorized personnel.
