Responsibilities

• Verify process output is within quality limits and adjust or communicate when outside limits.
• Execute, interpret, record, and respond to inspections and test results.
• Isolate and reject materials out of specification as needed.
• Ensure accurate recording of transactions (production, rejects, inventory, hours).
• Assist in shift prep, direct personnel, and manage end-of-shift hand-offs.
• Maintain controlled and compliant process equipment.
• Participate in Toyota Production System (TPS) activities.
• Move materials (glass) using lift equipment and carts to support production.
• Understand the schedule and inventory needs to keep production on track.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspect equipment.
• Apply inspection procedures and tolerances to pass/reject materials.

Job Responsibilities

• Verify process output is within specified quality limits and make adjustments and/or communicate when outside allowable limits.
• Execute, interpret, record, and properly respond to inspections and test results.
• Responsible for isolating and/or rejecting materials out of specification.
• Assure transactions (i.e., production, rejects, inventory, work hours, etc.) are accurately recorded.
• Assist in shift preparation, directing personnel, and shut‑down or hand‑off at end of shift.
• Ensure all process equipment is controlled and maintained to accepted standards.
• Actively participate in the Toyota Production System (TPS) activities.
• Move materials (primarily glass) using vacuum lift assist equipment, manually lifting, and moving mobile carts from one position/location to another to facilitate the production process.
• Understand the schedule and the inventory requirements to keep production on schedule.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities on equipment, such as cleaning and inspecting.
• Understand and apply inspection procedures and tolerances to pass or reject materials and/or products.
