Job summary

Hendrickson is seeking an assembly-focused worker for our Kentucky facility. You will use pneumatic and hand tools to build products per specifications and participate in all phases of the assembly process.

The role requires high attention to detail, adherence to safety practices, and willingness to work overtime as production needs demand. Prior experience and comfortable with torque wrenches are preferred, along with basic quality checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1-2 years production assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret production schedules and build specifications.
• Willingness to work overtime as production demands require.
• Must be able to utilize torque wrenches according to specs.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free.
• Adherence to all safety practices and policies.

Responsibilities

• Use required pneumatic/hand tools to assemble product per specifications.

Job description

Use required pneumatic/hand tools to assemble product per Company and customer specifications. Understand associated parts and their relationship to the end product. Must be able to facilitate all aspects of the assembly process.

Essential Functions

• Must be able to organize all aspects of the assembly process.
• Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Accurately report daily activities and production data as directed.
• Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Exercise safe working habits while operating machines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Coordinator.
• Interact with technical support personnel and support downtime activities.
• Must possess a high level of attention to details.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture, participating in safety training sessions, and promptly reporting any safety concerns.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education and Training

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Prior production assembly experience, 1-2 yrs. preferred

Environmental Conditions

• Non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility.
• Must wear eye, ear, and foot protection.
