Job summary

Hanes Companies seeks 2nd shift Machine Operators for Greenscapes Home & Garden Products, a Hanes/Leggett & Platt company. Operate motorized equipment, load/unload fabrics, and maintain inventory accuracy on the line.

Candidates should be reliable, able to lift 75–100 pounds, and willing to work overtime including Saturdays. Competitive benefits and a team-focused environment are offered.

Responsibilities

• Bring forth suggestions and participate in continuous improvement and verify solutions.

• Read and follow instructions on converting orders.
• Perform routine machine operations (load, set-up, doff) and adjust for quality.
• Ensure production reporting is neat and accurate.
• Lift 75–100 pounds as required.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Department Supervisor.

Machine Operator needed on 2nd shift

Greenscapes Home & Garden Products, a Hanes/Leggett & Platt company, is seeking 2nd shift Machine Operators. Machine Operators must be comfortable running motorized equipment where industrial fabrics are loaded and unloaded, legibly complete inventory sheets, and maintain or exceed inventory output.

Shift hours are:

• 1st shift 7am – 3pm
• 2nd shift 3pm – 11pm

Qualifications:

• Have good communication skills.
• Be detail oriented with paperwork.
• Be comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
• Have a stable work history.
• Must be able to work overtime and Saturdays if necessary.

Primary Duties:

• All employees have the responsibility to bring forth suggestions and participate in continuous improvement process and verify the implementation of solutions.
• Conform to all quality/safety/environmental requirements and procedures.
• Read and follow instructions on converting orders.
• Perform routine operations on machine (load, set-up, doff) - make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.
• Production reporting to be neat and accurate.
• Ability to lift 75 – 100 pounds.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Department Supervisor.
