Job summary

JetPack Shipping in Akron, OH seeks an experienced Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role requires at least one year of machine operating experience and a focus on safety and quality.

You will set up, operate, changeover, clean, and maintain production equipment, document settings, and help ensure GMP compliance in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of machine operating experience in manufacturing.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor capsule manufacturing equipment.
• Perform machine changeovers and adjust equipment for different production runs.
• Document machine settings accurately and complete production paperwork.
• Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble production equipment.
• Pull, verify, and document raw materials and lot numbers for batches.
• Identify quality, food safety, or equipment concerns and report them promptly.
• Maintain a GMP-compliant work area and follow safety procedures.
• Support other production operations as needed.

About the RoleJetpack is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. This is a hands-on production role for someone who has at least one year of machine operating experience and enjoys working with manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment.
