Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Machine Operator to join a premier manufacturing client in Rapid City, SD. You will prepare equipment, load mail into trays, and help maintain production quality on multiple lines. The role offers training at $19/hour and standard pay at $20/hour on first through third shifts.

This position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and prior manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and load mail into postal trays.
• Palletize trays and monitor mail quality during operation.
• Assist operators and team members with daily tasks.
• Operate and monitor multiple machines to maintain production quality and reduce downtime.
• Communicate with team to maintain continuous production flow.
• Follow standardized procedures, emphasizing safety and housekeeping standards.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $20.00 per hour ($19.00 per hour while training)

Shifts:

First Shift: Mon – Fri, Training Hours
Second Shift: Mon – Fri, 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
Third Shift: Mon – Fri, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
