Maker's Pride in Minnesota is hiring a Machine Operator Level I to perform set-ups and run packaging equipment, while ensuring products meet customer quality requirements. You will also do wash and changeovers and adhere to GMP standards.
The role requires reliable behavior, good math and communication skills, and the ability to work under GMP conditions. Overtime may be required and a discretionary annual incentive exists.

The Machine Operator performs set-ups, makes minor adjustments and operates packaging equipment. Identifies acceptable or unacceptable product quality per customer requirements. Performs wash and changeover of equipment. Machine Operators will need to be reliable and able to work with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) at all times.
Manufacturing environment - exposure to a variety of machines, noise levels, and varying temperatures. Depending on which location, our environments can be very warm or refrigerated.
Team environment - must be able to work well with others and communicate in a respectful and professional manner.
Ability to stand up to 80% of the time scheduled
Ability to lift 40 lbs. unassisted and 40-75 lbs. assisted.
Must be able to work necessary overtime based on staffing needs and customer demand, as well as across shifts.

Machine Operator Level I $23.40/hr., a shift differential is offered for 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance.
