Setterstix Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to support our production lines in the United States.

The role involves operating all sticks machines per safety standards and product specs, inspecting equipment, and performing quality control checks to ensure stick specifications meet SOPs. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of Process Technician experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate machines in compliance with safety standards and product specs.
• Interpret specification sheets and ensure actions meet regulations.
• Inspect equipment and identify causes of errors or defects.
• Monitor information from materials/events/environment to detect problems.
• Perform regular quality control checks on stick characteristics.
• Complete production paperwork accurately.
• Meet Setterstix Quality Management System standards, including BRC.

THE MISSION:

The Machine Operator plays a key role in supporting theachievement of Settertix business objectives by:

• Monitor and review information from materials, events, orthe environment, to detect or assess problems.
• Analyze information and evaluating results to choose thebest solution and solve problems.
• . Perform physical repairs to production machines.

A SNAPSHOT OF EXCITING THINGS YOU WILL DO:

• Operate all machines in accordance with Setterstixsafety standards and product specification sheets. Machines comprise stick machine from paperloading to auto packer, the carton erector, printer, pointer.
• This would include understanding of allapplicable data noted on specification sheets and what actions need to be takento satisfy specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Inspectequipment, structures, or materials toidentify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
• Monitorand review information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect orassess problems.
• Assureproduct quality by performing regular Quality Control checks of stickcharacteristics while performing the machine technician function (length,diameter, stiffness, wax amount, etc.) according to SOP.
• Assurequick problem solving and execution to achieve Setterstix targets
• Complete all necessary paperwork used in theproduction process accurately.
• Achieve thetasks following the standards of the Setterstix Quality Management System,inclusive of BRC.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Process Technician.

You have done physical repairs to a production machine not just entered programing.

• Certification or credential in related fields from localcareer & technology center and/or local technical college is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Willingness and ability to learn new skills on the job.
• Problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
• Desire to multitask in a fast-paced, often-changingenvironment.

Salary: Up to $22.39/ hr

Schedule: 10 Hour

Shift: 1st Shift 6:00AM- 4:30PM Monday- Thursday
