Job summary

Marzetti Company is seeking a Weekend Shift Filler Operator to join our climate controlled facility. You will operate the filler on the production line, verify seals and packaging, and help load supplies throughout the process.

Responsibilities include reading scales, performing quick arithmetic, and providing samples to the lab while maintaining clean, safe work areas and adherence to time and temperature specifications.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and math skills are required.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to follow detailed directions and to understand time, temperature, and weight measurements.
• Ability to work cooperatively with a team.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe working area.

• Cleans and rinses equipment according to specified procedures.
• Completes all required daily documentation and reporting for equipment, supplies, and products.
• Maintains company standards for cleanliness, food safety and productivity in the processing area.
• Provides support for the production supervisor in maintaining continuous production

Position Summary:

Operates the filler of an assigned line, including ensuring that product is properly sealed and packaged. Assists in pulling supplies and loading filler appropriately throughout the production process.
