Job summary

FG Air in South Carolina is seeking a production operator to set up and run manufacturing equipment. You will follow safety protocols, monitor machinery, and keep accurate production records.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of manufacturing experience, be mechanically inclined, and willing to cross-train. The role requires reading, writing, and counting, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience at the same location.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of machines.
• Willling to cross-train for multiple roles.
• Able to read, write, and count.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality.
• Able to stand for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs; perform repetitive tasks.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Follow all safety rules.
• English reading/writing preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Has the ability and proficiency to setup and operate machines.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and help implement solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of production, including quantities produced, machine settings and any issues encountered.
• Ability to perform work at process speed and/or standard rates.
• Advises supervisor with any problems with tools, equipment, fixtures, materials, or setup operator.
• Maintains daily product and scrap records.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
• Keeps work station and surrounding area clean.
• Maintain all assigned tools.
• Any other duties are required by management

• Ability to speak, read or write English preferred.
