Job summary

Lactalis US Yogurt in Londonderry, NH is hiring a Machine Operator to manage safety, product safety, line efficiency, and ingredient usage on the assigned production line. You will protect workers and product quality while supporting continuous improvements on the line.

The role requires 1–2 years in manufacturing, ability to lift 50 lbs, and comfort in a noisy environment. 12-hour shifts with a rotating schedule and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and English reading/writing skills.
• Ability to work in a 12-hour schedule and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a noisy area and operate in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure personal and personnel safety on the production line and recommend improvements to supervision.
• Assure product quality on the line, matching Stonyfield standards for mass, dosing, flavor, cups, lids, codes.
• Monitor weight control, line checks, changeovers, start-up and shutdown processes.
• Ensure line specifications are met, adjust when needed, report deviations to maintenance and supervision.
• Maintain housekeeping, GMP compliance, and proper zoning for the line.
• Ensure all containers are properly labeled for compliance.
• Perform Clean in Place (CIP) within the allotted timeframe.
• Maintain operator control sheets with accurate SKU consumption data.
• Adapt to changes and actively contribute to positive change.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
