Job summary

WSI Talent in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Machine Operator to support our plastic injection molding manufacturing process. Location: Grand Rapids, MI. Pay rate: $19.20/hr with shift options and a $100 referral bonus.

A typical day includes using hand tools, packing products, performing quality checks, labeling packaging, minimizing scrap, and supporting certification efforts. Overtime is available for those who want it.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to stand on your feet all day.

Responsibilities

• Utilize hand tools and secondary equipment to produce high-quality products in a safe and efficient manner.
• Place completed products in their correct packaging.
• Complete quality checks on finished goods and handle non-conforming products.
• Create and apply labels to packaging.
• Use STOP authority to minimize scrap production.
• Support the establishment of Flow Cell certification.
• Record scrap numbers into production computer systems.
• Set up/tear down work cells according to correct processes.

What We Offer:

• Competitive pay rates and flexible shifts:
• 1st Shift: 6 am – 6:10 pm, $18.60/hr.
• 3rd Shift: 6 pm – 6:10am, $19.20/hr.
