Job summary

AAON is seeking a Machine Operator I for our Redmond, Oregon facility. The role involves loading production files, preparing machines, and assisting in daily setups to support steady production runs.

You will monitor equipment, report anomalies, perform visual inspections for quality, maintain a clean work area, and ensure PPE compliance. Teamwork and safety are emphasized to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting.
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and manual dexterity required.
• Ability to operate a computer and basic input devices for documentation.

• Replenish materials and consumables needed for machine operation.
• Work collaboratively with other operators and team members to meet production targets.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Document basic production data and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Essential Mental And Physical Functions

This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting.

• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and repetitive motion throughout the shift
• Use of fine motor skills and visual acuity for inspecting components and operating machinery
• Ability to operate a computer, mouse, and basic input devices
• Must be able to respond to visual and auditory machine indicators

Work Environment

Machine Operator I roles are performed in a production facility where safety, cleanliness, and efficiency are prioritized.

• Work is performed indoors in a manufacturing setting
• Exposure to loud noise, dust, and chemical fumes
• Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, masks, gloves, and steel-toed boots
• This position is designated as a safety-sensitive role and is subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing
• Compliance with all company safety and operational policies is mandatory
