Job summary

AAON in Redmond, OR seeks a Machine Operator I to support daily production in a manufacturing environment. You will load production files, prepare machines, and adjust equipment to meet targets while ensuring quality and safety. You will monitor performance, report issues, and collaborate with the team to maintain efficiency and clean work areas.

Responsibilities include basic data documentation, material replenishment, and adherence to PPE and safety protocols during all shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Comfort operating a computer and basic input devices.
• Must wear PPE and follow safety protocols.

Essential Mental And Physical Functions

This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting.

• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and repetitive motion throughout the shift
• Use of fine motor skills and visual acuity for inspecting components and operating machinery
• Ability to operate a computer, mouse, and basic input devices
• Must be able to respond to visual and auditory machine indicators

Work Environment

Machine Operator I roles are performed in a production facility where safety, cleanliness, and efficiency are prioritized.

• Work is performed indoors in a manufacturing setting
• Exposure to loud noise, dust, and chemical fumes
• Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, masks, gloves, and steel-toed boots
• This position is designated as a safety-sensitive role and is subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing
• Compliance with all company safety and operational policies is mandatory
