Job summary

Carlisle Companies is seeking a motivated 1st shift Production Operator to support the manufacturing floor in Chandler, AZ. You’ll operate machinery, assist with packing and end-of-line tasks, and help meet safety and quality standards.

Compensation starts at $21.27/hour with overtime potential; benefits begin Day 1, including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred; HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Operates machinery to complete assigned work orders.
• Receives and reviews work orders and communicates material needs.
• Records data of manufactured material for quality control.

• Following COS initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.

Job Summary

Operate machinerydesignedto perform a specific portion of the production processfor Carlisle CompaniesIncorporated.Assist Operator II and Operator III on packing and end-of linework, and as needed.Overtime, no travelis required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operates machinery of assigneddepartment tocomplete assigned work order.
• Receives and reviews work orders.
• Communicates the required amount of material needed to perform tasks to other departments.
• Continuous observation of machine operation to ensure optimal performance of standard work withinthe assigneddepartment.
• Performs hazard-based functions on machinery, including lock out/tag out and daily equipment inspection.
• Stacks,sorts, andbundlesmaterial according to assigned department’s standard work.
• Occasional housekeeping tasks, 5S, and SQDC involvement.
• Records data of manufactured material for quality control and improvement functions.
• Achieves production goals while complying with all safety requirements.
• Assists with quality checks to verify proper parameters are adhered to.
• AssistsOperators II & IIIinpackaging and end-of-line work, and as needed.
• Utilize COS (Carlisle operatingsystem) toolsand training to identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Required:
• High School Diploma or GED is Preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Working Conditions:

• Fast pacedmanufacturing environment where workers are exposed to both ambient/outsidetemperatures and dust; working with mechanical parts and pinch points; exposure to increased noise levels.

• Flexible to the possibility of overtime and weekend hours when required.
