DESCRIPTION

Operators assist in producing and controlling the quality of non-woven (air filtration) products. Operators enter data into computer systems. They are also responsible for assisting with machine start-up and shutdown, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and other related tasks. Operators work as a team in a fast-paced environment on a fixed 8-hour schedule.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
• Ability to maintain proper recordkeeping of material and inventory.
• Ability to maintain good housekeeping and follow S.O.I.'s.
• Experience with setup of equipment and monitoring to validate process.
• Effective communication skills to report needs in the work area.
• Mechanical aptitude, basic reading and writing skills.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must complete pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screen (post offer).
• Physical ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and monitor machines for malfunctions.
