Job summary

Omega Flex Inc is looking for a Machines Operator in Chester County. The role involves removing and replacing equipment parts, welding duties, and running production as scheduled.

The starting hourly rate is $17 with additional benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a $500 sign-on bonus, and paid holidays. Candidates must be able to lift at least 60 pounds and perform preventative maintenance on machinery.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate equipment per setup.
• Basic understanding of welding and production processes.
• Previous experience or training in machinery operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove and replace forming dies, sizing rollers, and drive belts.
• Butt weld or splice start piece to coil stock.
• Cut sample weld joint and examine under the microscope.
• Run work in process in accordance with scheduled work orders.
• Postproduction data to inventory usage report.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repair to equipment.

Job Responsibilities for Machines Operator:

• Remove and replace forming dies, sizing rollers and drive belts in accordance with setup specifications.
• Butt weld or splice start piece to coil stock, set haul off speeds and welding controls.
• Cut sample weld joint and examine under microscope.
• Run work in process in accordance with scheduled work order.
• Postproduction data to inventory usage report.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repair and adjustments to equipment.

Other Details:

• Starting rate for this position is $17/hr; employees are evaluated at 3 months, 6 months and annually
• A $500 sign‑on bonus payable after 90 days, details are explained during the interview process
• Overtime availability based on production demand
• Ability to lift at least 60 pounds
• First Shift schedule 7AM-3:30PM
