JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operates machines similar to punch press, CNC, lathe, laser, saw
  • Completes equipment/product set-ups
  • Sets up and runs various auxiliary equipment as required
  • Analyze product attributes and determine process adjustments necessary to bring product to spec
  • Participate in quality improvement process of machine operations
  • Participate in planning of work to meet predetermined deadlines
  • Operate manual bending machine
  • Complete equipment/product set-ups
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Obtain materials from production line
  • Insert metal parts inside machine repeatedly throughout shift
  • Maintain clean and safe work area
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
PRODUCT QUALITY:
  • Responsible for the proper manufacture of the product specified
  • Records the product attribute data as required
  • Involved in the continuing process to improve product and process quality.
