Job summary

The Vomela Companies is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift to set up, operate, and maintain production machinery for quality output. Pay ranges from $17.02 to $18 per hour, with responsibilities including monitoring machines, performing routine maintenance, and documenting production activity.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and proven manufacturing experience, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to read technical documents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and operate complex machinery.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards in a production setting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as manuals and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs as directed.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, machine performance, and maintenance activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary
