Job summary

Night Shift Hours: 3:30pm - 2:00am Pay: $14 - $19/hr (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operates CNC mills, lathes and other machining equipment.
• Edit programming new and existing product improve operational efficiency.
• Familiar with cutting speeds, feed rates, depth of cuts and cutting tools to be used on basis of experience and knowledge of metal properties.
• Replaces worn tools.

Essential Functions

• Must be able to read and understand blue prints.
• Must be able to set up and operates two machines.
• Must have own tools.
• Must be able to use various measuring and test instruments.
• Must be able to stand on concrete for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Has High School Diploma or GED.
• Has 3 plus years set up and operating experience in a CNC Machine Shop Environment.
• Using Fanuc, Mazatrol and HAAS Controls.
• Ability to interpret complex blueprints and apply a variety of geometric and trigonometric principles.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
• Ability to handle multiple and frequently changing priorities.
• Assists Machine Shop Supervisor as Assigned.
• Work Overtime as required.
