Job summary

Big 3 Precision is seeking a production operator to operate manufacturing machines and complete production processes efficiently, following verbal or written instructions and turning in all required paperwork.

The role includes loading/unloading, routing, drilling, deburring, scraping, flame processing, assembly, packing and visual inspection. Candidate will detect defects and report issues to ensure safe, high-quality output.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow instructions.
• Able to operate machines safely and effectively.
• Able to load/unload machines and handle basic setup tasks.
• Must stand for long periods and lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Review job information and requirements before production.
• Operate manufacturing machines and complete required paperwork.
• Load/Unload machine and perform basic setup tasks.
• Route, drill, deburr, scrape, flame and assemble as required.
• Pack/stack product per job information sheet; perform visual inspections and report defects.
• Assist in teardown or setup of production equipment as needed.

Job description

Position Overview: Operate manufacturing machines or complete any production process in an efficient manner producing quality product according to verbal or written instructions. Accurately complete all required paperwork and turn in as completed.

Job Responsibilities:

• 1st Shift - 6:00AM to 4:30PM
• Review all job information, work instructions, and understand job requirements before running production.
• Complete the Production Report, as required throughout the shift.
• Load/Unload Machine.
• Route, drill, deburr, scrape, flame and assemble products as required.
• Pack/stack product according to job Information Sheet.
• Complete visual inspections on product you’re producing. Notify supervisor immediately when more than 1 part is nonconforming.
• Cut scrap into manageable pieces.
• Complete or assist in the teardown or job set-up of production machine.

Requirements

Skills:

• Good attendance and follow instructions.
• Understanding of tools required to produce product.
• Work independently or within a team.
• Work accurately, with attention to detail, and be able to detect defects.
• Operate machines and hand tools.

Abilities:

• Speak, read, and write in the English language.
• Stand, Walk, and reach with arms, hands, and fingers.
• Lift, carry, push, pull items up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
• Basic Math; count, add, and subtract.
