Our client in Leola, PA is seeking a Machine Operator to provide cross-functional support across Tooling, Blending, Grinding, and Quality Assurance (QA). This individual will also perform the duties of a Lead Operator in Production—overseeing output, ensuring specifications are met, and maintaining overall product quality. The Utility Lead will serve as a fill-in Supervisor when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Tool and Die with changeovers and line start-ups
Support Maintenance with minor equipment repairs
Perform duties of a day or night shift Lead Operator as needed
Make heat adjustments on extruders to maintain quality standards
Maintain Ink Jet printers and select proper prints
Provide coverage and breaks for line operators
Complete Production Pre-Start Checklists and start up lines efficiently to produce quality product
Ensure tooling is stored correctly and work areas are organized
Promote safe work practices, positive attitude, and company goals
Select proper silo and material for product runs
Assist with onboarding and training of new hires in Production
Support daily production process improvements
Perform Blending/Grinding or QA Technician duties as needed
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED preferred
Must be qualified at the A Operator level
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and positive attitude
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Associates Degree in Electronics or equivalent training (Fundamentals of PLCs, Programming Controllers, Troubleshooting and Repair of PLCs) preferred, with 3+ years of practical electronics experience
