Job summary

Sulzer in Texas is seeking a Machine Operator to run and supervise manufacturing equipment, ensuring efficiency and product quality while adhering to safety protocols.

You will set up machines, monitor performance, inspect outputs, log production data, and contribute to a clean, organized work area as part of a collaborative team.

Job Summary

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring machinery used in the manufacturing process. This role ensures that machines run efficiently, products meet quality standards, and safety protocols are followed. This job profile is intended for support staff that follows established procedures and works under close supervision. Smaller/easier decisions are made autonomously. This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium, Large, Division / Extra Large organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate machinery according to instructions.

  • Inspect products for quality and report defects.

Skills & Qualifications

May require basic vocational training (or equivalent work experience) and up to 2 years of relevant experience to carry out the role.
