ManpowerGroup is seeking a Machine Operator in Houston, TX for the 1st shift. You will be responsible for receiving, preparing, coating, and inspecting tooling, while interpreting prints and ensuring quality standards are met.

Ideal candidates have 1–4 years in manufacturing quality, can read technical prints, and are physically able to lift up to 100 lbs. Forklift and crane experience are a plus, with a supportive team environment and opportunities for growth.

  • Assist with tooling inventory and packaging for shipping.

The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $19

Shift: 1st Shift

What's the Job?

  • Responsible for all aspects of receiving, preparation, coating, and inspection of tooling.

  • Reads and interprets prints or work instructions to ensure tools and dies meet specifications.

  • Visually inspects tooling for damages and defects.

  • Operates equipment such as flame spraying machines, sandblasting, and ovens for coating and surface preparation.

  • Supports tooling inventory management and packaging for shipping.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum 1-4 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical prints and work instructions.

  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting up to 100 lbs and stand for extended periods.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

  • Experience operating cranes and forklifts is preferred.
