Join Amcor as a Manufacturing Assistant and play a vital role in supporting our production operations across Press, Extrusion, or Converting . In this hands‑on position, you’ll assist operators, prepare materials, monitor equipment, and help ensure our products meet safety and quality standards. You’ll be part of a collaborative, team‑driven environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Pay range: $18.41 – $18.86/hour (based on experience)
Night shift differential: $1.00/hour premium
Overtime: 1.5x pay for hours over 40 per week

Growth and development opportunities
Assistoperators with set‑up, operation, and monitoring of press, extrusion, or converting equipment
Prepare, load, and stage raw materials, rolls, inks, cartons, and supplies needed for continuous production
Transport materials using hoists, forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material‑handling equipment
Remove finished rolls, pallets, or waste and stage for the next step in the process
Inspect materials and running product for defects and report quality issues
Perform roll changes, ink changes, and material changeovers as directed
Record production data, weights, and complete required documentation
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areasin accordance withGMP, AIB, and food safety standards
Assistwith housekeeping, waste handling, and recycling activities
Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts
Follow all safety, PPE, lockout/tagout, and company policies
Assistother team members and departments as needed
High School Diploma or GED
Manufacturing experience preferred but notrequired
Basic math and measuring skills
Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
