Job summary

Ox Paper Tube Core in Hanover, PA is seeking a Machine Operator to operate and monitor winding equipment, cutting and packing tubes and cores per order specs. This is a full-time, on-site position on the 1st or 2nd shift.

You will follow safety policies, set up machinery, check quality, and complete production paperwork. A High School diploma or GED is preferred; ability to stand up to 12 hours and lift up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Physical demands: on their feet up to 12 hours per day.
• Able to lift/move up to 25, 50, sometimes 100 pounds with assistance.

General Purpose of Position:

Responsible for all of the necessary functions to cut and package tubes and cores.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety policies and procedures


• Properly set up equipment to cut tubes and cores


• Cut and package tubes and cores according to order specifications


• Check quality on every order, fill out quality and production sheets and any other necessary paperwork
