Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is hiring a Machine Operator in Frederick, MD. This entry level production role supports the bakery team by safely operating high-powered machinery and ensuring our baked goods meet top quality standards.

Starting pay is $22.59 per hour with benefits under the collective bargaining agreement. You will perform packaging, ingredient mixing, and material handling, while maintaining GMP and food safety.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• 1–3 years of prior manufacturing experience; food manufacturing is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable in a warm working environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-powered bakery machinery safely to produce quality products.
• Package products and mix ingredients as required.
• Move and stack materials and equipment used in production.
• Inspect products and reject those not meeting specifications.
• Complete required training, audits, and maintain GMP and food safety.

What You Will Be Doing

• A Production Associate is an entry level role in our bakery and a valuable member of the production team focused on safely and consistently producing the highest quality product possible for customers.
• Perform various duties including, but not limited to; safe operation of high-powered machinery, packaging products, mixing ingredients, and moving and/or stacking materials and equipment used in the production of fresh baked products.
• Examine and reject products that do not meet specification; observe, maintain, and address issues to prevent and reduce waste.
• Participate and successfully complete all Company approved and required training, audits, etc.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety, and Superior quality standards.

What We Need From You
