Job summary

Simple Staffing, on behalf of Epiroc, is seeking a machine operator in Dexter, ME. The successful candidate will operate and process parts according to print and traveler requirements, and monitor machine performance.

You'll set up machines, handle start-up/shutdown, diagnose issues, and ensure safety. Responsibilities include quality checks and timely communication with supervisors, with comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machining equipment per prints and travelers.
• Ability to monitor machine performance and utilization.
• Familiarity with machine setup, including program retrieval, gases, nozzles and materials.
• Understanding start-up and shutdown procedures for machines.
• Ability to diagnose machining problems and implement modifications as needed.
• Efficiently perform operations per specifications.
• Conduct quality checks and report issues to supervisor.
• Maintain safety in all operations.
