Job summary

MCC Label is seeking 2nd and 3rd Shift Machine Operators for printing operations and production. Experience not required but a bonus.

Responsibilities include checking print quality, splicing, data entry, and material handling with a focus on safety and efficiency. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math with money, weight, volume, and distance units.
• Proficiency with simple Windows-based applications.
• Physical stamina for standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to identify print and seam defects.
• Attention to recording data in paperwork and Globetek system.

Responsibilities

• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification.
• Uses a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedures.
• Handles rolls and palletizes them to prevent damage.
• Understands basic printing and seam-related defects.
• Records and enters data on designated paperwork and in Globetek.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

We are currently looking for 2nd and 3rd Shift Machine Operators supporting our printing operations and production to join our team. Experience is not required but always a bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification.
• Utilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools are used at other times as necessary).
• Handles rolls and palletizes them accordingly as to not cause damage to them.
• Must understand basic printing and seam related defects.
• Recording and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Globetek).
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Ability to use simple Windows-based applications.
• The physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focuss.
