Machine Operator
Bristol, CT

Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will set up and operate machines to produce parts based on simple instructions and blueprints. You'll be responsible for keeping your work area safe, running jobs on time, and checking the quality of your work.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate machines following basic instructions or blueprints

• Load and unload parts safely

• Change cutting tools as needed

• Use hand tools and basic measuring tools to inspect work

• Identify and report any mechanical or quality issues

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

• Work from a Kanban schedule or production list

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in manual or CNC machine operation OR equivalent training/certification

• Able to read and follow work instructions and blueprints

• Basic understanding of measuring tools (such as calipers, micrometers, etc.)

• Mechanically inclined and eager to learn

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Manufacturing or machining coursework a plus

Work Environment:
This position is based in a manufacturing facility. Safety procedures and proper PPE are required at all times.
