Job summary

Sealed Air is seeking an entry-level Metal Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This role focuses on learning machining operations, reading blueprints, measuring components, and maintaining a safe, organized work area.

You will assist with operating basic equipment under supervision, inspect parts with calipers and micrometers, and support senior machinists with fabrication and production tasks in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machining skills
• Ability to read measurements and use hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 50 pounds
• Prior manufacturing or shop experience is a plus but not required

Work Environment
