Job description

We're hiring for a manufacturing facility in Ashland, Ohio. In this role you'll operate and maintain bag machines used for liquid packaging in a fast-paced production environment. You'll focus on safety, quality, and productivity while developing your skills in machine operations and quality testing.

Shift/Pay:

• 1st Shift: 5am-3pm M-F - $20.25
• 2nd Shift: 3pm- 1am M-F - $22.25
• 3rd Shift: 9pm- 7am S-Th. - $21.25

Training Schedule:

• All employees will complete training on FIRST SHIFT for the first 7-8 weeks.

MANDATORY OT ON SATURDAY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

• 1st Shift: 5am-11am
• 2nd Shift: 11am-5pm
• 3rd Shift: 11pm-5am

NOTE: Employees will not be required to work on Saturdays during the first 7-8 weeks of training.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize scrap, efficiency, and product quality.
• Set up and run bag machines as scheduled.
• Participate in machine maintenance and troubleshooting training.
• Supply raw materials, pack products, and load machines.
• Ensure quality standards are met and report defects.
• Cover other production roles as needed.
• Use hoists to load rolls onto machines.
• Assist with printing and labeling.
• Perform tape splicing at packing station.
• Manage material workflow from the warehouse.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma.
• Preferably 1 year in machine operation.
• Read measuring tapes and specifications, strong mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to pass an aptitude test
