Job summary

SafeBox in Akron is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to operate and maintain lathes, mills, drill presses and grinders, ensuring smooth production and high quality. The role emphasizes accuracy, setup, and adherence to specifications.

You will read blueprints, measure parts, set up machines, monitor performance, and document production data while following safety protocols. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a machine operator.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Familiarity with CNC machines is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery in a manufacturing setting Your main goal is to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently while also maintaining quality standards

Responsibilities

• - Operate various types of machines such as lathes mills drill presses and grinders
• - Set up machines according to specifications and blueprints
• - Monitor machine operation to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed
• - Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments to maintain standards
• - Record production data and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisor
• - Maintain a clean and organized work area
• - Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

• - Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role
• - Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month
