Know How Resourcing is recruiting a Machine Operative to join our client in Thornbury, operating an AMD Notching Machine. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically minded and enjoys hands-on work, with a strong interest in learning new skills.

Shift pattern is Mon‑Fri 06:00 – 14:30, offering stable hours and clear progression within a growing manufacturing environment. Full training will be provided and the team emphasizes safety and quality in a supportive setting.

Shift Pattern

Mon‑Fri 06:00 - 14:30

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating and programming the AMD Notching Machine
• Loading timber safely and efficiently
• Carrying out quality inspections to ensure products meet our standards
• Monitoring machine performance and identifying any issues quickly
• Working to production targets while maintaining high quality
• Following all health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• A mechanically minded individual with good practical skills
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Good attention to detail and quality
• The ability to recognise when equipment isn't operating correctly and respond appropriately
• A reliable team player with a positive attitude
• Previous experience operating machinery or within a manufacturing environment is beneficial but not essential
