Job summary

Hach, a Veralto company, in Loveland, CO, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing equipment and safety standards.

The role focuses on maintaining CNC mills and injection molding equipment, developing preventive maintenance procedures, and ensuring uptime. You'll collaborate with a strong team to drive continuous improvement and address both electrical and mechanical issues in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in related role in an applicable environment.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced technical or mechanical problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair CNC mills/lathes and injection molding equipment (electrical and mechanical systems).
  • Develop, perform, and audit preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Maintain high equipment uptime, including specialized Chemkey systems.
  • Promote a safe work environment by following all safety procedures.
  • Develop and execute emergency repair plans for critical assets.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen and DBS activities.
  • Handle and ensure proper disposal of chemical and non-chemical (including hazardous) waste.
  • Collaborate with leadership to recommend and implement improvements to processes, equipment, and procedures (safety, quality, delivery, productivity).
  • Maintain positive working relationships across the facility.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Troubleshoot and repair CNC mills/lathes and injection molding equipment (electrical and mechanical systems).
  • Develop, perform, and audit preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Maintain high equipment uptime, including specialized Chemkey systems.
  • Promote a safe work environment by following all safety procedures.
  • Develop and execute emergency repair plans for critical assets.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen and DBS activities.
  • Handle and ensure proper disposal of chemical and non-chemical (including hazardous) waste.
  • Participate in team meetings for planning, resource allocation, problem-solving, and project work.
  • Assist with design, implementation, and troubleshooting of new and existing equipment.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior Maintenance Technicians.
  • Crosstrain in other areas as needed.
  • Collaborate with leadership to recommend and implement improvements to processes, equipment, and procedures (safety, quality, delivery, productivity).
  • Maintain positive working relationships across the facility.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 4+ years in related role in an applicable environment
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced technical or mechanical problem solving
  • Ability to recognize and solve non-routine problems; completes work with limited direction
  • Communicates detailed technical information with tact and diplomacy, both written and verbal

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.


The compensation range for this role is $29.52 - $34.18 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.


We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
