Job summary

Stratasys Ltd in Belton, TX is seeking a Machine Service Technician to maintain and repair production floor equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems, and ensure reliable prototypes and production parts on 3D printers.

This role requires a technical degree or 3+ years of electro-mechanical experience, basic CAD/CAM knowledge, and CMMS proficiency. Travel is about 10% locally, and the candidate must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in Electrical or Mechanical trade or 3+ years of electro-mechanical equipment support experience.
• Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM software applications and file management.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair assigned equipment on the production floor.
• Perform preventative maintenance and upkeep of the equipment through regularly scheduled checks.
• Main point of contact for production floor in equipment operations, installation, maintenance, and application training.
• Oversee the reliability and uptime issues on equipment to ensure high-level satisfaction and reliability of prototypes and production parts on 3D printers for SDM.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts and rebuild manufacturing equipment as required.

Stratasys is currently seeking a Machine Service Technician at our facility in Belton, TX.

In this role you will be responsible for performing maintenance on assigned equipment on the production floor. You will also be responsible for the electrical and/or mechanical repairs and perform scheduled maintenance on the assigned systems and sub-systems. Troubleshooting skills are needed to identify and resolve problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment and used in the manufacturing process.

What you will be doing:

As a part of Stratasys, this position requires access to information and/or technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (or, green card holder), protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Must have for this role:

• Technical degree in Electrical or Mechanical trade or 3+ years of experience supporting electro-mechanical equipment
• Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM software applications and file management
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

Nice to have:

• Rapid Prototyping industry experience
