Job summary

Elite Staffing, Inc. in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Machine Lubrication Maintenance Technician to support the reliability of manufacturing equipment through lubrication, inspection, cleaning, and basic preventive maintenance.

This entry-level role works with Maintenance Technicians and operators to complete lubrication schedules and report defects. You will perform routine lubrication tasks, monitor inventory, and assist with preventive maintenance, safety, and housekeeping to keep line

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn industrial maintenance practices.
Ability to read and follow maintenance procedures and schedules.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely around equipment.
Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled lubrication tasks on production equipment according to PM routes.
Apply oils, greases, and other lubricants using proper methods.
Verify lubrication points are accessible, labeled, and in good condition.
Maintain lubrication equipment, tools, and storage areas.
Monitor lubricant inventory and notify supervision when replenishment is required.
Conduct routine machine inspections during lubrication activities.
Identify leaks, noises, vibration, or temperature changes and report promptly.
Support preventive maintenance and basic component replacement.
Document maintenance activities in CMMS or checklists.
Support safety initiatives and maintain 5S housekeeping.
